阐释学视域下典籍英译策略研究--以罗希文《本草纲目》英译本为例  

A Study on the English Translation Strategies of Classics from the Perspective of Philosophical Hermeneutics--Taking the English Translation of Luo Xiwen's Compendium of Materia Medica as an Example

摘　　要：《本草纲目》集本草学之大成,被誉为“中国古代百科全书”。2003年出版的《本草纲目》罗希文英译本备受好评。文章拟从哲学阐释学角度出发,分析译者文化身份及其所处的历史语境对翻译策略和原则的影响,在此基础上提出在翻译中医典籍时要重视译者文化身份构建、译本要服务于目标读者,以推动中医药文化的海外传播。The Compendium of Materia Medica is a masterpiece of Materia Medica and is known as the“Encyclopedia of Ancient China”.The English translation published in 2003 by Luo Xiwen has received high praise.This article intends to analyze the impact of translators'cultural identity and its historical context on translation strategies and principles from the perspective of philosophical herme-neutics.On this basis,it is proposed to pay attention to the construction of the translator's cultural identity.The translation should be aimed at targeted readers and promote the overseas dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine culture.
