摘  要:以往的认知心理学研究低估了幼儿的科学学习能力,以此为指导的教育实践限制了幼儿学习科学的潜力。当代国际幼儿科学教育和学习科学研究表明,理论上幼儿不仅适合学习科学,而且有权利通过科学学习来了解其所生活的世界。在实践层面,美国的学前儿童科学教育项目(Preschool Pathways to Science,简称PrePS?)充分认可了幼儿科学学习的价值,形成了特色的科学教育理念并落实在实践中,提供了借鉴案例。对于我国当前的幼儿科学教育来说,一方面需要加强理论研究及其与实践的融合,另一方面则需要构建幼儿科学教育的生态系统,为幼儿提供丰富而便捷的学习科学的机会。Previous cognitive psychology studies have underestimated young children’s ability to learn science,and educational practices based on these studies have limited young children’s potential to learn science.Current theoretical research on young children’s science education and science learning shows that young children are not only capable of learning science,but also have the right to learn science to understand the world in which they live.At the practical level,the Preschool Pathways to Science(PrePS™)programme in the United States fully recognizes the value of science learning for young children and has developed a distinctive philosophy of science education and implemented it in practice,providing a case study for reference.For the current early childhood science education in China,on the one hand,it is necessary to strengthen theoretical research and its integration with practice,and on the other hand,it is necessary to build an early childhood science education ecosystem that provides rich and convenient opportunities for young children to learn science.
