摘  要:ChatGPT自问世后在各个行业中引起了广泛讨论,对外语教学来说既是机遇也是挑战。通过问卷调查法对41名翻译专业学生在英语笔译课堂中ChatGPT的使用现状进行研究,结果发现:ChatGPT在英语笔译课程中可以帮助师生提供参考译文、提升综合素养、提高翻译效率,但也存在会造成师生产生技术依赖心理、数字鸿沟差距拉大、翻译技术伦理等问题。因此,需要师生加强笔译练习,提高信息素养,行业建立技术伦理规范等对策来突破困境。启示:师生可以在英语笔译课程中使用这一技术工具,但对其生成译文需要保持客观态度,最好在文本生成后进行译后编辑,形成人与技术合作模式,从而更好提升译文质量。ChatGPT has attracted a widespread attention from various fields since it was brought to life,which is both an opportunity and a challenge for foreign language teaching.A questionnaire survey was conducted to study the current situation of the use of ChatGPT by 41 translation majors in English translation class.The results show that ChatGPT can help teachers and students to provide reference translations,improve comprehensive literacy,and improve translation efficiency in English translation courses.However,there are also problems such as technology dependence between teachers and students,widening digital gap,and ethics of translation technology.Teachers and students need to strengthen translation practice,improve information literacy,and establish technical ethics norms in the industry to break through the dilemma.The enlightenment is as follows:both teachers and students can use this technical tool in English translation courses,but they need to maintain an objective attitude towards the translation generated by it,and finally conduct post-translation editing after the text is generated,forming a human and technical cooperation model,so as to better improve the quality of translation.
