摘 要:英语文化类课程是开放大学英语本科专业的必修课之一,具有重要的思政育人价值。在以江苏开放大学英语国家社会与文化课程为代表的思政教学实践中,出现了一些典型问题,如思政教育套路化,思政元素僵硬植入、与课程内容相关性不足等;同时,也面临着一些现实困境,具体表现为教学时长与教学内容不匹配、思政育人重点不突出、思政教学评价不合理等。基于此,在英语国家社会与文化课程教学中尝试以树立文化自信为重点,基于成人学生学情,从教学设计、教学实施和教学评价层面开展课程思政教学探索。English cultural courses are compulsory for undergraduate students majoring in English at open universities and hold significant ideological and political educational value.However,in the practical teaching of ideological and political education throughout courses such as“The Society and Culture of Major English-Speaking Countries”,some typical issues have emerged,such as the routi⁃nization of ideological and political education,rigid integration of ideological and political elements,and insufficient relevance to course content.Additionally,practical challenges such as mismatched and content,lack of emphasis on ideological and political education,and unreasonable evaluation methods have been encountered.To address these,this research attempts to focus on fostering cultural confidence and explore pathways to apply ideological and political education in the curriculum design,implementation,and evaluation methods for teaching“The Society and Culture of Major English-Speaking Countries”,catering the learning features of adult students.
