摘　　要：翻译因需而生,应需而起,翻译与需要关系紧密,因此很早便引起译界关注,并已有了一些初步的探讨,尤其是初步界定了“翻译需要”概念,但总体而言讨论还不够深入和系统,需作进一步的学理阐释。本文通过梳理有关翻译与需要关系的相关论述,总结现有研究的不足,重申“翻译需要”研究的必要性,并以此为基础对这一课题的研究提出初步构想,试图为该主题的未来研究提供参考。Translation is intrinsically linked to the notion of fulfilling needs,as it arises from and responds to these needs.Consequently,the relationship between translation and needs has attracted significant attention from translators and scholars in the field.Preliminary research in this area has made notable contributions,particularly in terms of suggesting a fundamental definition of"translation needs".However,further research is required to deepen our understanding in a more systematic manner.Drawing upon an overview of existing literature and an analysis of pertinent issues,this paper advocates for a systematic investigation into translation needs and proposes a potential research project to address this gap,attempting to provide a reference for future researches on this topic.
