摘  要:“天行健,君子以自强不息”是中国文化精神的主体性存在。基于“天人合一”的中国宇宙观表述,中华民族的自强不息文化精神是顺天道而立的。自强不息精神作为中国文化主体精神,不断为中国历史所证实。中华民族之所以能够战胜种种内忧外患,靠的就是自强不息的主体性文化精神。在封建主义统治的时期,由于阶级对立关系的存在,统一的民族文化分裂为相对对立的“两种文化”。对统治者来说,被统治阶级的自强不息显然会带来对统治秩序的损害,因此,销蚀被统治阶级的自强不息精神是统治者的必然选择。新文化运动是中国自强不息精神的新自觉,先进人物在学习借鉴西方先进思想时,同时也激活了中华优秀传统文化中反僵化和创新的因素,复兴了历史上的自强不息精神。The subjectivity of Chinese cultural spirit lies in the saying"As the Heaven keeps vigor through movement,a gentleman should unremittingly for self-improvement",and the cultural spirit of self-improvement based on the Chinese cosmology of the unity of heaven and humanity has been continuously confirmed by Chinese history which witnesses how the Chinese nation overcomes various internal and external troubles with the spirit of self-improvement.During the period of feudal rule,eroding the self-improvement spirit of the ruled class is an inevitable choice for rulers.The New Culture Movement is a new consciousness of China's spirit of self-improvement with pioneers who not only learn and borrow from Western advanced ideas,but meanwhile activate the elements of anti-rigidity and innovation in China's excellent traditional culture,reviving the spirit of self-improvement in history.
