摘  要:基于控制—价值理论,本研究构建语言态度如何影响外语学习情绪进而影响外语成绩这一中介模型,并在我国城乡初一、初二4个子样本(n_(1)=588、n_(2)=312、n_(3)=617、n_(4)=304)中加以验证。先后对各样本的问卷数据和英语期末考试成绩进行独立样本t检验与结构方程模型检验。结果表明,城乡中学生的语言态度和英语成绩差异显著,但态度—情绪对英语成绩的影响机制却无城乡差异。在4个样本中,外语课堂无聊情绪均在语言态度和英语成绩之间起部分中介作用,中介效应占模型总效应的30.77%~48.71%,而外语愉悦和焦虑均不发挥中介作用。结合研究发现,笔者为未来研究与实践指出具体方向。本研究是社会语言学、积极心理学、教育心理学与外语教育学学科融合的一次尝试,具有一定的跨学科意义。Drawing on the control-value theory,the current study aims to construe a mediation model consisting of language attitude,foreign language learning emotions,and foreign language achievement and testify the model based on four independent samples of the 7th and 8th graders from urban and rural regions of China(n_(1)=588,n_(2)=312,n_(3)=617,n_(4)=304).Independent t tests and structural equation modelling were adopted to analyze participants'questionnaire data and English final exam scores.Results showed that although there were significant urban-rural differences in language attitude and English achievement,the attitude-emotion-achievement pattern was consistent across the urban-rural samples.Specifically,foreign language classroom boredom consistently mediated the relationships between language attitude and English achievement in the four samples,and its mediating effects took up 30.77%~48.71%of the total model effects.By contrast,foreign language enjoyment and anxiety did not play a mediating role.The findings provide directions for future research and practice.This study is a tentative attempt to incorporate sociolinguistics,positive psychology,and educational psychology into foreign language education research,offering multidisciplinary implications.
