摘 要:Although the advent of antibiotics has significantly improved the quality of life of infected patients, bacterial infections continue to pose a serious threat to public health[1,2].According to a recent report, within the next 30 years, bacterial infections are projected to surpass cancer in terms of lethality rates, resulting in an alarming 10 million deaths annually by 2050 due to the development of bacterial resistance[3].Moreover,the formation of bacterial biofilms hampers the penetration of antibacterial agents and inhibits the host immune response, making biofilm infections extremely challenging to treat[4-7].Hence,the development of innovative antimicrobial biofilm therapeutics is imperative.
