摘　　要：吴贻芳是我国杰出的教育家和社会活动家。她生命充盈,卓尔不凡,在抉择中显担当,在奋斗中扬尊严,在奉献中抒真情。其厚生教育思想内涵丰富:以志业为基,以仁爱为“芯”,面对磨难厚生以待。她的教育实践丰厚坚实:生命为先、健康第一;博采中西、文理渗透;注重实践、服务社会;师长导引、慎之于微。其厚生教育思想与实践遗芳后世,激励着当代人坚持奋斗,勇毅担责;善鉴多元,厚生利用;爱国治业,美善发展。Wu Yifang is an outstanding educator and social activist in China.Her life is full and remarkable,showing responsibility in decision-making,dignity in struggles,and sincerity in dedication.The rich connotation of her educational thoughs thought includes taking aspiration as the foundation,benevolence as the“core,”and facing hardships with endurance.Her practice of educational thoughs is rich and solid:life is the foundation,health comes first;drawing extensively from both Chinese and Western cultures,integrating arts and sciences;emphasizing practice and serving society;guiding students and,‘Be cautious in the slightest’.Her educational thoughs and practice have been passed down to later generations,inspiring contemporary people to persevere in struggles and shoulder responsibilities with courage and perseverance;appreciate diversity and make good use of it;love the country and develop beauty and goodness.
