译者惯习影响下的翻译动机、行为与策略探究——以《老人与海》的张爱玲和余光中译本为例

摘　　要：译者惯习对翻译活动存在不可避免的影响。文章以《老人与海》的张爱玲和余光中汉译本为例,探究其中译者惯习对翻译动机、翻译行为以及翻译策略选择的操纵。通过对二者惯习的分析和具体译例的对比可以发现,在动机上,张爱玲的翻译动机在于维持生计和对原作的热爱,余光中的翻译动机在于担负的责任感;在行为上,不同的译者认知、文学素养和双语背景会导致翻译行为的不同;在策略上,惯习的差异使得张爱玲倾向于采用异化的翻译策略,而余光中则偏爱归化的翻译策略。Habitus inevitably shapes the dynamics of translation activities.This study delves into the habitus of Zhang Ailing and Yu Guangzhong in their respective Chinese translations of The Old Man and the Sea.By exploring aspects such as cognition of translation,literary competence,and discourse systems,the research investigates the nuanced influence of habitus on their motivation,behavior,and strategy choices.Translation examples reveal a significant contrast:ZhangAiling tends to use alienation strategies,while Yu Guangzhong prefers domestication strategies.
