《极花》英译本性别话语重构及人物形象重塑研究

摘　　要：贾平凹小说《极花》聚焦女主人公胡蝶被拐后的惨痛经历及复杂心路历程,2019年由英国女翻译家韩斌(Nicky Harman)翻译成英文出版。本文对《极花》及其英语译作Broken Wings进行对比分析,以女性文体学为理论框架,从词汇、句法和叙事视角多个层面探讨译者的思想观念、意识形态如何影响译文性别话语的呈现以及人物形象的塑造。研究发现,作为女性译者,韩斌对女主人公表现出极大同情,在细微之处展示胡蝶的复杂情感,突出胡蝶作为女性的主体意识,重构了性别话语,重塑了人物形象。Jia Pingwa's novel Ji Hua focuses on the tragedy of the abducted heroine Butterfly and her complicated life experience.Translated by British female translator Nicky Harman,the novel Broken Wings was published in 2019.Taking feminist stylistics as the theoretical framework,the research examines the changes in gender discourse between the original and its translation on vocabulary,syntax,and point of view respectively,exploring the impact of the translator's ideologies and values on the translation.The research finds that,as a female translator,Harman shows great sympathy for the abducted heroine.The translation has highlighted the heroine's subtle emotional changes,strengthening female awareness as an individual,restructuring gender discourse and reshaping the image of different characters.
