机电类文摘机助翻译的错误剖析

摘　　要：为提高基于CAT的摘要英译质量,对机电类论文英文摘要的机器译文进行了错误剖析,描述了机器译文在词汇错译、句法错译、以及篇章错译三大方面的典型错误形式。其错误原因主要与摘要中源语言句型复杂、专业术语较多以及中英文语言、文化差异有关。为了减少和避免上述错误,译者对译前、译后编辑以及对中英文语言、文化差异的掌握必不可少。This paper analyzes the errors in the machine-translated English abstracts of electromechanical papers,describing the typical errors of machine-translated texts in three aspects:lexical,syntactic and pragmatic mistranslation.Complex language patterns of the source language in the abstract,the large number of terminologies as well as Chinese and English featuring different languages and cultures are primarily to blame for the blunders.Therefore,for purpose of reducing and steering clear of the errors described above,it is essential for the translator to master pre-editing and post-editing,as well as the mastery of language and cultural differences appearing in Chinese and English.
