摘　　要：在我国数字经济快速发展的背景下,数字技术成为驱动企业创新的关键技术因素。本文基于2007—2021年我国A股上市公司的年报数据,利用文本分析法构建企业层面的数字技术应用指标,考察企业数字技术应用对专利质量的影响。研究发现,数字技术应用显著提升了企业的专利质量,并且企业只有将数字技术应用到生产、经营和管理过程中,才能真正发挥数字技术的专利质量提升作用;机制分析表明,企业数字技术应用通过提高研发效率、推动研发合作以及积累超级明星发明家三个渠道促进专利质量提升;数字技术对企业专利质量影响具有明显的异质性,在IT投入更多和专业化分工水平更高的企业中促进效果更显著。进一步研究发现,数字技术应用并没有导致企业间的专利质量出现数字鸿沟。本文研究结论为数字经济时代下推动实体企业与数字技术深度融合提供理论依据和经验证据,并为我国未来提高专利质量相关的政策设计提供参考。In the context of the rapid development of China's digital economy,digital technology has become a key technical factor driving enterprise innovation.Based on the annual reports of Chinese A-share listed firms from 2007 to 2021,this paper uses text analysis method to construct an index measuring enterprise digital technology application,and empirically tests the impact of digital technology application on corporate patent quality.The research finds that:first,the application of digital technology significantly promotes patent quality,and enterprises can only promote patent quality by applying digital technology to production,management and operation.Second,the analysis of the mechanism reveals that the application of digital technology improves the patent quality of enterprises through three channels:improving the research and development(R&D)efficiency of enterprises,promoting R&D cooperation and the accumulation of superstar inventors.Third,from the heterogeneity of the application of digital technology on patent quality,the promotion effect is more significant in enterprises with more IT investment and a higher level of specialization.Furthermore,the application of digital technology does not widen the digital divide in patent quality between enterprises.The findings of this paper provide theoretical and empirical evidence for promoting the deep integration of real enterprises and digital technology in the era of digital economy,and provide a reference for China's future policy design related to improving patent quality.
