PBL法在农业资源与环境硕士研究生专业英语教学中的应用

摘  要:专业英语是很多院校研究生培养过程中开展的集科学研究和英语学习、能力培养为一体的工具类课程。作者根据自身在农业资源与环境专业学术型硕士研究生专业英语课程教学过程中存在的实践问题,将PBL法应用到课程教学改革中。通过介绍专业英语课程的特点,以专业英语教学过程中存在的学生英语基础薄弱、授课内容更新加快、教学模式和方法亟待改革等主要问题为导向,介绍PBL法在专业英语教学中应用的过程和方法,使授课方式由被动授课变为主动学习,激发学生的学习兴趣和自我学习的动力,课堂教学效果获得显著提升,可为研究生专业英语教学改革提供参考。Professional English is a tool course that integrates scientific research,English learning and ability training in the process of graduate training in many colleges and universities.According to the practical problems existing in the teaching process of"professional English"for academic master students majoring in agricultural resources and environment,the author applies PBL(Problem-based learning)teaching method to the course teaching reform.By introducing the characteristics of professional English courses and the history evolution of PBL method,and based on the existing problems in the process of professional English teaching,such as weak English foundation,accelerated updating of teaching content,and urgent reform of teaching mode and method,this paper introduces the connotation,process and method of PBL method application in professional English teaching,which change the teaching mode from passive teaching to active learning,and stimulate students'learning interest and self-learning motivation,and overcome the class dozing,coping,playing mobile phone and other bad classroom phenomena,and make teaching effect improve significantly,and provides reference for the reform of postgraduate professional English teaching reform.
