摘 要:次技术词是ESP教学中的重要一环。但因词义变化较大,在教学中造成了一系列问题。研究次技术词的历时变化特征可以更好地理解该词汇词义多变的原因。鉴于此,本文以油气储运英语为例,从历时角度出发,通过自建语料库采用定性与定量结合的研究方法,分析了次技术词的历时变化特征及其对基于学科的ESP教学的启示。本研究发现,油气储运英语中次技术词历时分布较为稳定,覆盖率趋于增长,不同时期同一次技术词词义概念意义增强且搭配范围扩大。就基于学科的ESP教学而言,了解次技术词历时变化可从历时、动态的角度引导学生学习次技术词,关注次技术词、技术词与非技术词之间的转换关系以及次技术词的词义变化,将次技术词汇学习与专业发展结合起来,这对专业技术词汇的教学具有积极意义。As an important part of ESP teaching,semi-technical words have caused a series of problems in ESP teaching due to their large semantic variation.The reasons for this variation can be better understood through the diachronic study on the characteristics of semi-technical words.Therefore,with the aid of corpora,this paper discusses the diachronic characteristics of semi-technical words in oil and gas storage and transportation English by means of qualitative and quantitative methods,and their implications for discipline-based instruction of ESP teaching.It is found that the distribution of semi-technical words in English for oil and gas storage and transportation tends to be stable,but the coverage of the words expands diachronically.Furthermore,the semi-technical words contain more concept meanings and a larger collocational scope with the passage of time.It is significant in the discipline-based instruction to understand the diachronic semantic variation of semi-technical words and learn these words from a diachronic and dynamic perspective,and focus on the relations between semi-technical,technical and non-technical words and the changes in their meanings to combine the learning of semi-technical words with the development of the relevant disciplines.
