切斯特曼翻译规范视域下《习近平谈治国理政(第四卷)》英译本探究

摘　　要：本文以切斯特曼的翻译规范为理论基础,以《习近平谈治国理政(第四卷)》英译本为研究对象,探究时政外宣文本英译的原则及规范。研究结果表明,期待规范制约下,译者能尽可能规避语法错误及“中式思维”;专业规范指导译者最大限度地实现译文的“信”,又兼顾目标语读者表达习惯,有效实现中国思想、文化和价值观的国际传播。Based on Chesterman’s Translation Norms Theory,this paper investigates the translation principles and norms embodied in current political text of overseas publicity by taking the English version of Xi Jinping’s The Governance of China(VolumeⅣ)as the research object.The results show that the translators can avoid grammatical errors and“disturbance”of“Chinese thinking pattern”as much as possible under the Expectancy Norms;while guided by the Professional Norms,the translators manage to achieve the faithfulness of the translation to the maximum extent,as well as take into account the expression habits of the target readers,so as to effectively realize the international dissemination of Chinese thoughts,culture and values.
