摘 要:推进“新文科”建设已成为中国高校教育改革的热点。在中国新文科研究领域,美国希拉姆学院因其改革红利的溢出效应而被误解为“新文科”发源地。因受宏观环境、建构主义理论、教育政策和文科“无用”论等因素的影响,从2017年起,希拉姆学院在新文科框架内同时进行重组院系、整合学科、优化课程、赋能技术、共享师资的改革,获得了良好效果,成为美国新文科的典范。希拉姆新文科范式对中国的启示是:新文科建设需要未雨绸缪、打破学科专业壁垒、科技赋能、有配套的教材体系和适应新文科的师资。Promoting the construction of"new liberal arts"has become the hot topic of China's higher education re-form.In Chinese new liberal arts research,Hiram College has been misunderstood as the birthplace of"new liberal arts"due to the spillover effect of its reform dividend.Influenced by the macro environment,constructivism theory,education policy and the view of"futility"of liberal arts,since 2017,Hiram College has been simultaneously carrying out the reforms of reorganizing faculties,integrating disciplines,optimizing curricula,empowering technology,and sharing faculty within the framework of the New Liberal Arts,which has gained good results and has become a model for the New Liberal Arts in the United States.Hiram's new liberal arts paradigm has the following implications for China:the construction of new lib-eral arts needs to be proactive,break down the barriers of disciplines and specialties,be empowered by science and techn-ology,and have a supporting textbook system and faculty adapted to the new liberal arts.
