医学人文的佳例:巴赫金诗学对当代精神病学的“复调式”观照

摘　　要：20世纪80年代以来,跨学科研究蔚然成风,其中跨文理交叉研究尤其引人瞩目。不少学者深受巴赫金学术遗产的影响,将诸多自然科学与人文科学相结合,特别是巴赫金诗学与精神病学的深度“结缘”。本文重点探讨英国精神病学专家古德的医学人文研究,他创造性地运用巴赫金诗学,对当代精神病学的学科话语生态、医患话语关系、学科非官方话语展开了“复调式”观照,在学科哲学、学科概念以及学科方法论上为拓宽精神病学的学科视阈新辟路径。本文认为,文学理论作为人文思想的一种重要来源,其“跨界”的巨大潜能远未被中国学界所认清,以古德为代表的英美学者在文理之间架起跨学科对话桥梁的创举,值得我们批判性地接受,以推动我们自身的理论创新与进步。Since the 1980s,interdisciplinary studies have become a new norm,especially studies crossing over humanities and natural sciences.Inspired by the legacy of Bakhtinian thought,quite a few scholars have attempted an integrative approach toward humanities and natural sciences,particularly the establishment of a profound interconnection between Bakhtinian poetics and psychiatry.The present paper focuses on the academic contribution toward medical humanities made by British psychiatrist Peter Good,who is a great innovator in applying Bakhtinian poetics to a polyphonic examination of the discursive ecology of contemporary psychiatry,the relationship between care discourse and patient discourse,and the unofficial language long unheeded by the official language of modern psychiatry.Good has blazed a unique path toward widening the disciplinary perspective of modern psychiatry in disciplinary philosophy,disciplinary concepts,and methodology.It is believed that literary theores as a source of humanistic thought has a great potential for interdisciplinary studies,a potential that is far from being fully recognized by the academia in China.The pioneering work of interdisciplinary dialogue between humanities and natural sciences initiated by western scholars such as Good is especially worth our critical attention in order to promote self-innovation and further advancement in our own literary studies.
