摘 要:《诗经》文本中的服饰描写蕴含深刻的文化内涵。为研究《诗经》中服饰英译的得与失,以文化翻译观为指导,以许渊冲和理雅各译本(许译本、理译本)为语料,将文本中的服饰描写分别置于家庭、社会、战争、情感、习俗文化语境中进行对比分析,探究两译本在服饰文本翻译中存在的差异。研究发现:两译本未在文化语境中进行服饰文本翻译,对服饰文化的阐述均存在缺失。许译本存在因音韵、意象牺牲服饰文化内涵的实例;理译本则偏重直译,仅实现字面对等。该研究将文化翻译观引入服饰文本翻译,以期为服饰文本翻译提供参考,同时进一步促进文化翻译观的理论研究。In Book of Poetry, the costume contains profound cultural connotations. To explore the gain and loss on the translation of costumes in Book of Poetry, this article takes Xu Yuanchong′s translation(Xu′s version) and James Legge′s translation(Legge′s version) as the corpus, and sets the costume descriptions in the texts in cultural contexts of family, society, war, emotion and custom for comparative analysis from the perspective of cultural translation theory, so as to explore the difference between the two versions in the translation of costume texts. It is found that both two versions fail to translate the costume text in the cultural context, and there are some deficiencies in the elaboration of the costume culture. Xu′s version lacks examples for sacrificing the cultural connotation for the sake of rhyme and image, while Legge′s version only achieves literal equivalence by mostly adopting literal translation. By introducing cultural translation theory into the translation of costume texts, this study aims to provide reference for the translation of costume texts and further promote the theoretical research of Cultural Translation Theory.
