摘  要:“工程材料”作为面向机械工程专业的一门专业基础必修课,具有较强的理论性和应用性,可为后续一些基础专业课的学习起到支撑作用,也能为学生未来从事机械设计、制造以及研究和开发新材料及其零部件提供必要的专业知识和基本技能。然而,该门课程涉及的内容比较广泛,不同专业和行业背景下使用的工程材料及面临的实际问题差别很大。开展该门课程的教学改革,对提高学生的学习兴趣、提高人才培养质量至关重要。As a basic compulsory course for mechanical engineering majors,the course of<Materials Engineering>has strong theory and application,which can provide necessary professional knowledge and basic skills for the study of subsequent courses and students'future mechanical design,manufacturing,research and development of new materials and their parts.It has strong practicability and also plays a supporting role in the subsequent study of some basic professional courses.However,the course covers a wide range of topics,and the engineering materials used and practical problems faced in different professional and industrial contexts vary greatly.It is very important to carry out the teaching reform of this course to improve students'learning interest and the quality of talent training.
