摘 要:近几年基于中国神话叙事的华裔英文玄幻小说异军突起,成为中国传统文化“走出去”的新生力量。以马来西亚新锐华裔作家苏琳恩×谭(SueLynnTan)的玄幻小说《月神之女》(DaughteroftheMoonGoddess)为研究对象,从文本的互文、重塑、杂糅三个维度阐释该小说与中国古典神话叙事的互动。其中,互文性从女性神话、孝道文化、精神内核层面探讨;重塑性从人物塑造、神话术语表达、人物关系构建视角分析;杂糅性从叙事方式、身份构建与价值取向角度论述。研究揭示了中国神话叙事的内在张力及其文化异质元素在英文玄幻小说中的传播,为中国玄幻小说的创作发展、中国传统文化的海外传播提供参照。Recent years have noticeably witnessed the English fantasy novels by Chinese diasporas based on Chinese myths have developed into a budding impetus for Chinese traditional culture Going-globally.In this study,Daughter of the Moon Goddess written by Sue Lynn Tan,a Chinese-Malaysian writer,is exemplified to securitize the narrative interactivity between this literary genre and Chinese myth narratives from the perspectives of intertextuality,re-imagination and hybridity.Intertextuality is analyzed in the aspects of female mythology,filiety and core spirit;Re-imagination is explored from the angles of characterization,fantasy terms expressions and characters’relations;Hybridity is discussed from the respects of narrative approach,selfidentification and value orientations.This study reveals there exists a strong narrative flexibility in the Chinese myth discourse,and Chinese cultural heterogeneity embodied in this genre has been highlighted and communicated.It consequently provides a significant reference for the modern Chinese fantasy novels’innovation in the future,and for the communication of Chinese myth and its traditional culture overseas.
