摘　　要：大卫·科波菲尔是19世纪英国批判现实主义文学家狄更斯带有自传性质的长篇小说《大卫·科波菲尔》的主人公,小说描写了大卫苦难的童年生活,刻画了他善良正直乐于助人的性格特征,突显了他刻苦努力、拼搏进取、奋斗成才的可贵品质,描绘了当时英国社会的现状,批判了金钱对婚姻、家庭和社会的腐蚀作用。大卫的形象堪称世界艺术宝库中的珍品,蕴含着深刻的审美价值和思想意义,揭示了有奋斗才会获得成功的人生哲理。David Copperfield is the protagonist of the autobiographical novel David Copperfield created by Dickens,British critical realist writer,in the 19th century.The novel describes David’s miserable child-hood,depicts his valuable qualities of kindness,integrity and helpfulness,highlights his hard work and suc-cess,reveals the current situation of British society at that time,and criticizes the corrosive effect of money on marriage,family and society.David’s image is a treasure in the world art treasure house,which contains profound aesthetic value and ideological significance,and indicates the philosophy of life that only struggle can lead to success.
