As the official philosophy of Ming dynasty,Cheng-Zhu Neo-Confucianism had a profound impact on medicine-academic philosophy of Ming generation. The idea of"learning through inquiring into everything"has driven the medical community to explored medical principles and observed pharmacology in detail, thus promoting the establishment of concept of treatment based on pattern identification and the development of understanding medicinal herb efficacy; The physician accepted the influence of the concept of abundant and concise and drew on the detailed outline created by Zhu Xi,compiled a wide range of medical Genus-book;The academic philosophy of"learning from lower to upper level"promoted the compilation of medical introductory books, thereby partly promoting the popularization of medicine.By combing the influence of Cheng-Zhu Neo-Confucianism to medicine-academic philosophy in Ming dynasty,it is suggested that our understanding of medical development should refer to the research results of different disciplines and conduct perspective research from multiple angles.
