摘　　要：1881年英国学者金璋对戴侗《六书故》进行译介,这是西方学界第一本对中国古代汉字学专著进行翻译和研究的海外文字学著作。书中不仅包括金璋的六书观,还引用多位19世纪汉学家的六书研究。目前学界尚无此方面的研究。本文以金璋《六书故》为研究对象,以期引起国内学者对海外文字学研究的关注。In 1881,the translation of Dai Tong’s“Liu Shu Gu”by British scholar Lionel Charles Hopkins was the first overseas philological work in Western scholarship to include a monograph on Chinese character formation.The book not only includes Hopkins’s view of the Six Scripts,but also cites the studies by a number of 19th-century sinologists.At present,there is no such study in the academic field.Based on this,this paper takes Hopkins’s the Six Scripts as the research material,in order to arouse our attention to overseas philology research.
