Integration of Industry,Education,Knowledge and Action:A Path for Design Talent Cultivation in the School of Art and Design of Wuhan University of Technology

摘  要:近代以来西学东渐,中国设计教育在曲折中起步并经历了深刻的转型,从传统的图案学与工艺美术范畴,逐步迈向高度交叉融合的学科领域,不断挑战并跨越专业界限,深化了人类对设计本质与应用的认知。本文聚焦于武汉理工大学艺术与设计学院在中国现代设计教育发展历程中的贡献与探索,通过文献分析、案例研究及实证分析,梳理学院在海洋与制造强国战略、长江经济带发展战略等方面的贡献,以及“产教融合、知行并进”的设计人才培养路径探索,阐述其设计教育创新实践。Since the modern times,with the introduction of western academics and culture to the east,Chinese design education has started and undergone profound transformation from traditional pattern design and craft art to a highly interdisciplinary field,constantly challenging and transcending professional boundaries,deepening human understanding of the essence and application of design.This paper focuses on the contributions and explorations of the School of Art and Design of Wuhan University of Technology in the development of modern design education in China.Through literature analysis,case studies and empirical analysis,the contributions of the School to the strategy of ocean and manufacturing power,the development strategy of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the exploration of the design talent cultivation path of the School of Art and Design of Wuhan University of Technology,which is based on the concepts of‘integration of industry and education,and the advancement of knowledge and practice',are explained.It also explores the design path of‘integration of industry and education,knowledge and action',and describes its innovative practice of design education.
