摘　　要：英语名词的可数性和原子性分属形态句法和语义范畴,它们之间的连接涉及形态句法—语义接口。现有英语名词可数性的二语习得研究主要关注母语为汉语等量词语言的学习者,鲜有涉及母语为俄语等非量词语言的学习者,也鲜少从形态句法—语义接口视角进行探讨。鉴于此,本研究采用句子补全任务,考察不同二语水平的俄语和汉语母语者习得英语名词可数性的情况。研究发现:(1)汉语母语者对不可数名词复数标记的使用正确率低于俄语母语者,前者对不可数原子名词复数标记的使用正确率低于可数名词和不可数非原子名词,而后者对各类名词复数标记的使用正确率没有显著差异;(2)形态句法—语义接口对英语名词可数性的习得造成了不同程度的困难,但这种习得困难会随着二语水平的提高得到有效改善。本研究基于浅层结构假说和接口假说对研究发现进行了解释。The countability and atomicity of English nouns belong to the categories of morphosyntax and semantics,respectively,and the link between the two involves the morphosyntax-semantics interface.Previous studies related to the second language acquisition of English noun countability focus on learners from classifier languages like Chinese.Few studies have been conducted with learners from non-classifier languages like Russian,and even fewer have looked at the morphosyntax-semantics interface.In order to fill this gap,the present study employs a sentence completion task to examine the acquisition of English noun countability by native speakers of Russian and Chinese at different levels of second language proficiency.It is found that:(1)Chinese speakers are less accurate than Russian speakers when using plural marking with mass nouns.Specifically,Chinese speakers are less accurate when using plural marking with mass atomic nouns than with count nouns and mass non-atomic nouns;Russian speakers,on the other hand,do not exhibit significant differences in the accuracy of plural marking across different noun types;(2)the morphosyntax-semantics interface causes different degrees of difficulty for the acquisition of English noun countability;however,this difficulty could be effectively mitigated as second language proficiency increases.This study explains the findings based on the Shallow Structure Hypothesis and the Interface Hypothesis.
