科勒等值理论视角下音乐剧《汉密尔顿》汉译研究

摘　　要：随着文化全球化的日益加深,英美音乐剧纷纷进入国内市场且引起学者的广泛关注。著名百老汇音乐剧《汉密尔顿》是一部讲述美国开国元勋亚历山大·汉密尔顿的音乐剧,由林-曼努尔·米兰达编剧、作曲及填词。该文以科勒的翻译等值理论为指导,对“药不能停字幕组”翻译的《汉密尔顿》汉译本进行研究,旨在探究译者应当如何采取合适的翻译策略与技巧,实现译文在外延、内涵、语篇规约、语用及形式五个层面的等值,以期为音乐剧汉译提供些许借鉴意义。研究发现,译者需在保证原文意义忠实传达的基础上,根据具体的语言和文化背景,采取直译、套译、反说正译等多种翻译策略、方法和技巧,巧用汉语四字格形式,达到最佳译文效果。As cultural globalization deepens,British and American musicals have found their way into the Chinese market,capturing significant attention.Among these,the renowned Broadway musical Hamilton stands out.Written,composed,and lyricized by Lin-Manuel Miranda,it delves into the life of Alexander Hamilton,a founding father of the United States.Guided by Koller's translation equivalence theory,this paper analyzes the Chinese translated version of the musical by the"Yao Bu Neng Ting"Subtitle Group.It aims to explore effective translation strategies and techniques that ensure denotative,connotative,text-normative,pragmatic,and formal equivalence in the target text.So as to provide valuable insights for the Chinese translation of musicals.Findings suggest that translators should ensure faithfulness,adopt Chinese four-character phrases,and employ translation strategies and techniques such as literal translation in order to achieve the best results.
