摘 要:20世纪英语世界的中国文学叙述中,对《庄子》的选篇及解读经历了三次研究范式的转换。翟理斯的《中国文学史》介绍《庄子》的道论,关注生命主题,是一种没有理论介入的主题研究范式。华兹生和白之分别论析《庄子》死亡观对周代传统的反叛及其在汉代的接受,是一种文化视角的研究范式。梅维恒打破《庄子》篇章选录传统,突出回归文字的文学;宇文所安设置全新的专题框架。他们都具有鲜明的理论意识,创立了新的多维文学研究范式。梅维恒和宇文所安全篇选入《秋水》和《齐物论》,具有特殊的文章学意义。In the narrative of Chinese literature in the English-speaking world in the 20th century,the selection and interpretation of Zhuangzi has undergone three shifts in research paradigm.The History of Chinese Literature by Herbert A.Giles introduced the Tao theory in Zhuangzi and focused on the theme of life,which was a thematic research paradigm without the intervention of theory.It was a research paradigm from a cultural perspective that Burton Watson and Cyril Birch analyzed the rebellion of Zhuangzi's death view against the Zhou Dynasty tradition and its acceptance in the Han Dynasty.Victor H.Mair broke the tradition of chapter selection in Zhuangzi and highlighted the literature of returning to the word's literal meaning.Stephen Owen set up a new thematic framework.All of them have distinct theoretical consciousness and set up a new multi-dimensional literary research paradigm.
