在技术狂飙时代重申教育的保守主义本质

摘　　要：“保守主义”一词在人们的日常表达和学术研究中的含义有所不同。在学术研究中,作为思想方式的保守主义,对理性谋划尤其是基于少数人理论构想的社会革命、重大发明抱有深深的戒备,更愿意相信基于人们生活经验、自然演化形成的制度、习俗和信念。保守主义针对的是激进主义,其思想依据在于人的不完美、理性有限性。当今时代可以说是技术狂飙时代,人们之所以发明一项新技术,只是“因为能够发明这项技术”。在求新欲望驱动下,人们往往审慎意识淡薄,“懂一而做十”,技术的风险前所未有。教育研究与实践也被技术狂飙所裹挟,往往为每一项新技术的诞生而狂欢,往往单向思考技术对教育的改变,不去审思教育对技术狂飙的中和、防范、范导作用。因此,在技术狂飙时代,有必要重申教育的保守主义本质。The word“conservatism”has different meanings in people’s daily expressions and in academic research.In academic research,conservatism,as a way of thinking,is deeply wary of rational planning,especially social revolutions and major inventions based on the theories of the minority,and prefers to believe in systems,customs and beliefs based on people’s life experience and natural evolution.Conservatism is directed against radicalism,and its ideological basis lies in the imperfections and limitations of human rationality.The current era can be said to be the age of technological explosion,the reason why people invent a new technology is simply“because they have the ability to invent the technology”.Driven by the desire for something new,technological personnel have a weak sense of prudence,and there are more and more products beyond the cognitive field of the times,making the risks of technology unprecedented.Educational research and practice are also hostage to the technology explosion,always reveling in the birth of every new technology,always thinking unilaterally about the impact of technology on education,without considering the role of education in neutralizing,preventing,and guiding the technology explosion.Therefore,in the era of technological explosion,it is necessary to reaffirming the conservative nature of education.
