英美文学在高校英语教学中的价值及运用策略探究

摘　　要：新时代背景下,英语人才不但要具备熟练的语言运用能力,还要具备文化意识和正确的价值观。因此,培养学生的语言语用能力和文化素养应被教师放到高校英语教学重要的位置上。将英美文学融入高校英语课堂教学中,地道的英文表达能提高学生的听、说、读、写的能力;同时对英美文学的深入阅读也带领学生走进文学的殿堂,作品中的人文情怀和情感价值能让学生感受到文化的熏陶,提高学生的文化素养并且帮助学生选择正确合理的价值观念,进而塑造自身价值观。因此,探究英美文学在高校英语教学中的价值和实施路径具有重要的现实意义。Under the background of the new era,English talents should not only have skilled language application ability,but also have cultural consciousness and correct values.Therefore,the cultivation of students'language,pragmatic ability and cultural literacy should be placed in an important position in College English teaching.In integrating English literature,authentic English expression can improve students'ability of listening,speaking,reading and writing,and the deep reading of English and American literature also leads students into the palace of literature.The humanistic feelings and emotional values in the works can let students feel the cultural influence,improve their cultural accomplishment and choose correct and reasonable values,thus shaping their own values.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to explore the value and application path of English and American literature in College English teaching.
