摘　　要：天津高等工业学堂始建于1903年,1904年由周学熙任校长;1929年升格为河北省立工业学院,首任院长魏元光。1952年,同津沽大学等高等院校一起并入北洋大学,被中央人民政府命名为天津大学。这所学堂所形成的产学一体、培育双师、校企合作等教育思想和办学理念,是当代职业教育界应当传承和弘扬的宝贵遗产。Tianjin Higher Industrial School was founded in 1903 and Zhou Xuexi became its president in 1904.In 1929,it was upgraded to Hebei Provincial Industrial College with Wei Yuanguang as its first president.In 1952,it was merged with Jingu University and other higher education institutions into Peiyang University,and was named Tianjin University by the Central People's Government.The educational thoughts and school-running philosophy formed by this school,such as the integration of production and learning,the cultivation of double-qualified teachers and the cooperation between schools and enterprises,are valuable legacies that should be inherited and promoted in the contemporary vocational education community.
