关于中医教育“先中后西”的哲学思考

摘  要:近半个多世纪以来,中医教育难以不断培养出大批传承性中医人才,中医教育事业渐入困境,其根本原因是没有遵循传统中医学的认知规律,突出表现是将具有不同文化性质的中、西医学同步开设于中医专业教学过程,使西医学关于人体、疾病及其诊治的认知理念先入为主,主导了学习过程,从而干扰了中医思维的建立,分散了学生的认知精力。因此,笔者认为应合理安排中医课程和西医课程的开设时间,待学生建立中医学的认知基础以后,再适当开设西医学课程。中医教育走出困境的必由之路,是彻底地实行“先中后西”的教学顺序。For over half a century,Traditional Chinese Medical(TCM)education has struggled to consistently produce a significant number of qualified practitioners,gradually finding itself in a predicament.The primary issue lies in not adhering to the cognitive principles of TCM.This is evident in the concurrent teaching of Chinese and Western medicines,each with distinct cultural traits,within the TCM curriculum.This approach prioritizes Western medical concepts related to the human body,diseases,and their diagnosis and treatment,thereby dominating the learning process and hindering the development of TCM thinking,diverting students'cognitive focus.Consequently,the author suggests a judicious scheduling of traditional Chinese and Western medicine courses,introducing Western medicine appropriately once students have laid a solid cognitive foundation in TCM.The only viable path for TCM education to overcome this predicament is to thoroughly adopt the teaching sequence of"Traditional Chinese Medicine first,Western Medicine later".
