《周易》初爻的儿童教育思想及其当代价值

摘　　要：《周易》诸卦初爻对应个体成长的童年期,爻辞拟议童年期的各种状态和处境,以及这些状态和处境的吉凶悔吝,其中蕴含了许多仍具当代价值的儿童教育思想。“利用刑人,用脱桎梏”提示我们,在训诫中掌握避免危险、保护生命的行为规范是儿童摆脱蒙昧,获得自由的第一步。“潜龙勿用,始求勿深”意味着天赋极高的儿童需要得到特别的呵护,父母和老师要有静待花开的恒久耐心。“蒙以养正,素履以往”提醒教育者从小就要培养儿童纪律严明、艰苦朴素、不耽享乐、谦虚谨慎、自立自强、真实无妄的好品格。“思患预防,及早复道”启示教育者要小惩而大诫,轻微的、及时的惩戒更有利于保护儿童善良的天性。The first lines of many trigrams in Book of Changes correspond to the childhood in one s growth,the text pertaining to the individual refers to the various conditions and situations in his childhood,and his good and ill luck,hardship and danger,and impoverishment in such conditions and situations,which contains many educational thoughts of children with contemporary values.To use punishment and remove the shackles from the mind:To master the behavior norms of evading danger and protecting life while learning regulations is the first step for the infants to shake off ignorance and strive for freedom.The dragon lying hid in the deep is at improper time for active doing and should be away from deep seeking for something at the commencement:The most talented children must be much more cared by adults and teachers who should be constantly patient in waiting quietly for flowers to be in bloom.To nourish the correct nature and to tread the accustomed path:Children should be well cultivated from their childhood with good virtues such as being well disciplined,hardworking and plain-living,not indulging in pleasure,modest and prudent,self-independent and self-strengthening,honest and selfless.To think of the evil to come and guard it beforehand,and return to the right path:Mild punishment is for great warning.Mild and timely punishment and warning are necessary for the better protection of children s good nature.
