应用型本科教育中通识教育的建设与思考——以公安类院校为例

摘　　要：通识教育是将科学、人文、艺术相融合的全面的素质教育,它注重不同学科之间的交叉又和渗透,注重教育的内涵和外延,重“育”而非“教”。文章结合当前公安工作的特点,分析了公安院校发展通识教育的必要性;结合公安院校人才培养方面存在的不足,展望了通识教育在公安院校的发展;根据通识教育的教育理念,提出公安院校通识教育的目标,即为了学生的全面发展,通过科学、合理的通识教育课程设置,达到培养具有批判性思维、良好沟通协调能力、明辨是非善恶的公安后备军的目的。General education is a comprehensive quality education that integrates science,humanities,and arts.It focuses on the intersection and infiltration between different disciplines,emphasizes the connotation and extension of education,and emphasizes"education"rather than"teaching".The article analyzes the necessity of developing general education in public security colleges and universities based on the characteristics of current public security work;Based on the shortcomings in talent cultivation in public security colleges,the development of general education in public security colleges is discussed;According to the educational philosophy of general education,the goal of general education in public security colleges is proposed,which is to cultivate a police reserve army with critical thinking,good communication and coordination skills,and the ability to distinguish right from wrong and good from evil through scientific and reasonable general education curriculum settings for the comprehensive development of students.
