从学生需求的角度思考如何提高实验动物学教学质量

摘　　要：实验动物学是一门涉及遗传学、生理学、免疫学、微生物学等多门学科的综合性学科,对于学生完成动物实验和课题研究都很重要。笔者在长期实验动物学教学和科研的过程中,发现部分学生缺乏实验动物学理论基础和实践操作能力,反映出目前实验动物学课程教学质量不高。由于学校忽视实验动物学的本科教学、课程设置不合理以及课程不受重视等原因,导致学生基础理论不扎实,缺乏实践操作能力和对实验动物福利伦理的深刻理解。这不仅影响学生养成实验动物福利伦理意识,还影响学生完成实验课程和课题研究,获得准确、可重复的动物实验数据。本文针对目前实验动物学课程教学存在的问题,从学生需求的角度分析原因,提出教学改革措施,为医学院校提高实验动物学课程教学质量提供参考。Laboratory animal science is a comprehensive subject involving genetics,physiology,immunology,microbiology,etcetera,and it is important for students to complete animal experiments and subject research.In the course of long-term teaching and subject research of laboratory animal science,the author found that some students lack the theoretical foundation of laboratory animal science and the ability of practical operations,reflecting the current teaching quality of laboratory animal science course is not high.Due to the school′s neglect of the undergraduate teaching of laboratory animal science,unreasonable curriculum settings and unappreciated courses,students lack solid basic theory,practical operation ability and deep understanding of laboratory animal welfare ethics.This not only affects students to develop awareness of laboratory animal welfare ethics,but also affects students to complete the experimental courses and the subject research,and obtain accurate and repeatable animal experiment data.This paper aims at the problems existing in the teaching of laboratory animal science courses,analyzes the causes of the problems from the perspective of students′needs,and puts forward teaching reform measures to provide a reference for improving the teaching quality of laboratory animal science in medical colleges.
