摘 要:荀子“化性起伪”理念主张人性初始为恶,但可通过后天教化和个人修养转变为善。与孟子的“性善论”不同,荀子强调后天环境和教育的重要性。他提出“性伪之分”,认为人性中的恶需要通过圣人教化、礼法约束和个人努力来转化,鼓励通过教育和自我修养提升道德水平,促进个人和社会和谐发展。荀子的思想在当代仍具有价值,对高校德育、社会道德建设、家风传承和法制建设都有积极启示。Xunzi’s philosophy of“Hua Xing Qi Wei”posits that human nature is inherently evil,but it can be transformed into goodness through postnatal education and personal cultivation.Unlike Mencius’s“Theory of Innate Goodness”,Xunzi emphasizes the significance of environmental and educational influences.He introduces the“distinction between nature and artificiality”,suggesting that the inherent evil in human nature can be transformed through the teachings of the Sage,the constraints of rites and laws,and efforts of individuals.Xunzi encourages the enhancement of moral standards through education and self-cultivation to foster harmony in both personal and social developments.Xunzi’s philosophy remains valuable in contemporary times,offering positive insights into moral education in colleges and universities,social moral construction,family tradition,and legal system development.
