摘  要:本研究经问卷调查与深度访谈发现,地方高校英语教师的专业发展现状不容乐观,具体表现为:专业发展意识淡薄、专业发展需求存在较大差异、教学反思能力与教学学术能力等专业化能力较为欠缺。要提高地方高校英语教师专业发展水平,英语教师自身必须增强专业发展意识,不断提高专业化能力;地方高校应完善教师管理、教学评价和专业发展培训体系;教育主管部门应制定相关政策,积极引导地方高校构建英语教师专业发展共同体,凝聚英语教师专业发展合力。This study found through questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews that the professional development status of English teach⁃ers in local universities is not optimistic.Specifically,there is a weak awareness of professional development,significant differences in pro⁃fessional development needs,and a lack of professional abilities such as teaching reflection and academic skills.To improve the professional development level of English teachers in local universities,English teachers themselves must enhance their awareness of professional devel⁃opment and continuously improve their professional abilities;Local universities should improve their teacher management,teaching evalua⁃tion,and professional development training systems;The education regulatory authorities should formulate relevant policies,actively guide local universities to build a professional development community for English teachers,and consolidate the joint force of English teacher pro⁃fessional development.
