摘 要:皮尔士的逻辑学和符号学是互相规定的。逻辑学是从符号学的角度被理解的:前期皮尔士在符号学的框架内定位逻辑学,逻辑学是其中的一个分支,后期完全以符号学定义逻辑学。反过来也可以说,皮尔士对符号学的考察,自始至终与其逻辑学研究有紧密的联系。一方面,皮尔士想要通过符号学来克服逻辑学研究中的心理主义;另一方面,皮尔士的符号学首先是为逻辑学研究服务的。皮尔士的目标是要建立普遍的符号学,若要更好地理解他的符号学,必须特别留意以上两个具有根本重要性的问题。Peirce's logic and semiotics are mutually defined.logic is understood from the perspective of semiotics:in the early stage,Peirce positioned logic within the framework of semiotics,of which logic is a branch,and in the later period,logic was completely defined in terms of semiotics.Conversely,Peirce's examination of semiotics has been closely linked to his study of logic from the beginning.On the one hand,Peirce wanted to overcome psychologism in the study of logic by means of semiotics;on the other hand,Peirce's semiotics was first and foremost at the service of the study of logic.Although Peirce's goal was to establish a universal semiotics,the two aspects are of fundamental importance that must be given special attention if his semiotics is to be better understood.
