职业教育促进区域经济高质量发展的实现机制研究——基于中介效应与门槛效应的检验

摘　　要：职业教育是区域经济高质量发展的重要驱动力。本研究基于我国31个省级区域2014-2021年的经验数据,综合评价和测度了职业教育和区域经济高质量发展水平,在此基础上运用基准回归模型、中介效应模型和门槛效应模型分析了职业教育对区域经济高质量发展的影响。结果表明:职业教育显著促进了区域经济高质量发展,且在稳健性检验、内生性检验后结论依然成立。中介效应分析表明,产业结构升级是职业教育推动地方经济高质量发展的关键因素。此外,职业教育也会受到工匠精神的影响,导致门槛效应的出现。当区域工匠精神水平突破门槛值后,职业教育的促进作用更强。异质性分析表明,职业教育在经济发达地区和一般发达地区的表现更为显著。基于此,建议大力发展高质量的职业教育,持续推动职业教育对区域经济高质量发展的新动能,深化产业结构升级,推进职业教育与产业结构升级的深度融合,大力培育和弘扬工匠精神,共同提升职业教育发展水平和质量,以促进区域经济的高质量发展。Vocational education plays a critical role in driving the high-quality development of regional economies. This study utilizes empirical data from 31 provinces in China spanning from 2014 to 2021 to comprehensively evaluate and measure the levels of vocational education and high-quality development of regional economies. By employing benchmark regression models, mediation effect models, and threshold effect models, we analyze the impact of vocational education on the high-quality development of regional economies. The results demonstrate that vocational education significantly promotes the high-quality development of regional economies, and this conclusion remains robust after conducting tests for robustness and endogeneity. The mediation effect analysis reveals that industrial structure upgrading serves as a vital mechanism through which vocational education influences the high-quality development of regional economies. Additionally, the analysis uncovers a threshold effect in the promotion of vocational education on regional economic development, influenced by the spirit of craftsmanship. Once the level of craftsmanship surpasses a specific threshold, the facilitating effect of vocational education becomes more pronounced. Heterogeneity analysis indicates that vocational education has a more significant impact in economically developed areas compared to moderately developed areas. Based on these findings, we recommend vigorous development of vocational education as a new driving force for the high-quality development of regional economies. Efforts should focus on strengthening industrial structure upgrading, deepening the integration of vocational education and industrial structure upgrading, cultivating and promoting the spirit of craftsmanship, and collectively enhancing the level and quality of vocational education to foster the high-quality development of regional economies.
