郭守敬“纯德实学”的养成教育及现代启示

摘　　要：郭守敬是13世纪的中国、乃至世界上最杰出科学家之一。他在天文、历算、仪器仪表制造和水利工程修建等方面建树颇丰。其伟大科技成就的取得,彰显了他“纯德实学”的鲜明特征,而这一特征的养成之本源则是祖父郭荣对他的悉心教育和着意培养。郭荣对郭守敬的教育主要体现在纯德培育和实学引领两方面,其教育观念和教育方法对当今社会的家庭教育有着重要的启发意义和借鉴价值。Guo Shoujing was one of the most prominent scientists in China and even across the world in the 13th century.He achieved remarkable accomplishments in astronomy,calendric science,the manufacturing of instruments and meters,and the construction of water conservancy projects.The attainment of his great scientific and technological achievements highlighted his distinct feature of“pure virtue and practical learning”.The root cause of the formation of this feature was the meticulous education and intentional cultivation of him by his grandfather Guo Rong.Guo Rong’s education of Guo Shoujing was mainly manifested in the cultivation of pure virtue and the guidance of practical learning.His educational concepts and methods have important enlightenment significance and reference value for family education in contemporary society.
