摘 要:立足于译者主体性理论,通过对《台北人》的自我翻译实践进行深入剖析,特别聚焦于受动性、主观能动性和为我性三个维度。研究发现:该作品的自我翻译风格以简洁明了和自由灵活为特征,明显地体现了译者的主观介入。白先勇在自我翻译过程中频繁采用增补、删减和改写等手法,并创造性地采用了一种具有全球视野的白话翻译策略;这种翻译方法不仅充分考虑了目标语言的文化背景,而且有效地展现了源语言的文化特色,成功地传达了原作的精髓,确保了作品在目标语言环境中的生命力得以延续。This study,grounded in the theory of translator's subjectivity,conducts an in-depth analysis of Pai Hsien-yung's self-translation practice in his masterpiece,Taipei People,with a particular focus on three dimensions:receptivity,subjective initiative,and self-orientation.The research reveals the self-translated work is characterized by its concise clarity and flexible expression,marking a distinct manifestation of the translator's subjective intervention.In the process of self-translation,Pai Hsien-yung employs techniques such as addition,omission,and adaptation,while innovatively adopting a colloquial translation strategy imbued with a global perspective.This translational approach not only meticulously considers the cultural backdrop of the target language but also effectively showcases the cultural nuances of the source language,conveying the essence of the original work and ensuring its vitality in the target linguistic environment.Consequently,this study contributes to the enrichment of translator's subjectivity theory with empirical evidence and offers valuable insights into cross-cultural translation practices.
