图里翻译规范理论视角下《世说新语》文化负载词英译研究

摘　　要：随着中国国际影响力的不断扩大,作为世界文化瑰宝的中国文化也凭借其独特魅力和深厚底蕴在世界舞台大放光彩。《世说新语》作为中国魏晋南北朝时期“笔记小说”的代表作,将魏晋士人的精神面貌全面展示给读者。其英译本则为外国读者提供了了解中国魏晋文化的重要窗口。《世说新语》中大量文化负载词的英译,为后续中国典籍英译提供了参考。该文基于图里翻译规范理论,根据奈达对文化负载词的分类,结合实例从初始规范、预备规范、操作规范分析马瑞志在翻译《世说新语》文化负载词时采取的翻译方法,以期为中国典籍英译提供一定的参考,同时弘扬中华优秀传统文化,助力文化强国建设。As China's international influence is on the rise,Chinese culture,the treasure of world culture,shines in the world with its distinctive charm and profound cultural heritage.Shi-shuo Hsin-yü,the representative of literary sketches in Wei,Jin and the Southern and Northern Dynasties,shows the mental attitude of people in that time.Its English version provides an important window for foreign readers to know Chinese culture in these dynasties.The English translation of numerous culture-loaded words in the work also give some references for English translation of Chinese classics.Based on Toury's theory of translation norm and Nida's classification of culture-loaded words,the paper will take some examples to analyze the translation of culture-loaded words in Richard B.Mather's English version of Shi-shuo Hsin-yüfrom initial norm,preliminary norm and operational norm,attempting to offer some references to English translation of Chinese classics,spread fine traditional Chinese culture and boost China's cultural strength.
