摘 要:中国观音形象女性化重要演变期大约发生在中唐至北宋时期,与印度密教在中国内地的传播盛行时间大体相当。通过历史文献和考古资料分析看,唐五代宋初密教女性崇拜思想与造像艺术的传入,对内地观音女性形象的转变有重要影响。宋代观音女性化成型就是妙善形象与大慈大悲千手千眼观音的结合。这一演变过程充分体现了佛教与中国传统文化的融合以及中华文化的自觉精神。The important evolutionary period for the feminization of the Chinese Guanyin image occurred approximately from the Middle Tang to the middle of the Northern Song Dynasty,which coincided with the spread of Indian Esoteric Buddhism in China's mainland.According to analyses of historical documents and archaeological data,the introduction of esoteric female worship and statue art during the Tang,the Five Dynasties,and the early Song Dynasty significantly influenced the transformation of the female image of Guanyin in the China's mainland.The feminization of Guanyin in the Song Dynasty represents a combination of the image of Miaoshan and the compassionate Guanyin with a thousand hands and a thousand eyes.This evolutionary process fully embodies the fusion of Buddhism with traditional Chinese culture and reflects the conscious spirit of Chinese culture.
