摘 要:在从作者到读者的叙事文本的交流过程中,读者往往被视为文本的消费者和接受者,被置于该交流过程的末端。实际上,读者绝非文本的被动接受者。在叙述交流过程中,读者与作者及叙事文本本身形成一个交流的循环,对文本和作者产生种种反应,与文本和作者互动。在该交流过程中,众多读者概念中的三类读者(即真实读者、作者的读者、受述者)所起的作用尤其值得注意。这三类读者在叙述交流过程中具有不同的表现,对作者叙事修辞的选择产生不同的影响。对这三类读者在作者、文本、读者间的相互关系进行探讨,有助于揭示叙述交流的完整过程,理解该交流过程中各要素的作用及其影响,深入认识读者在叙述交流过程中的重要性。The reader is often regarded as a consumer and a receiver of the text in process of communication in narrative texts from the author to the reader,and is placed at the end of this communication process.In fact,the reader is by no means a passive receiver of texts.In the process of narrative communication,the reader and the author as well as the narrative text itself form a communication cycle,which produces various reactions to the text and the author,and interacts with the text and the author.In this process of communication,the role played by three types of readers,namely,real reader,authorial audience and narratee,are particularly noteworthy.These three types of readers have different performances in narrative communication and have different effects on the choice of the author's narrative rhetoric.The discussion on the relationship among these three types of readers will help to reveal the complete process of narrative communication,understand the effect and influence of each element in this process,and strengthen the comprehending of the importance of readers in the process of narrative communication.
