摘 要:晚明时期掀起了一次科技翻译的浪潮,这次科技翻译实践成为我国历史上第二次翻译高潮,也是我国系统翻译西方科技知识的肇始,在中国传统知识转型方面起到了思想启蒙的作用。本研究从晚明的社会背景出发,旨在分析晚明科技翻译兴起的必然性,进一步厘清晚明科技翻译的主要内容,以期探赜晚明科技翻译对中国传统知识转型的重要影响。研究认为,晚明科技翻译活动不仅引入了新的科技知识,而且增长了国人的见识,同时还推动了晚明社会、科技和教育的发展。晚明科技翻译促进了我国传统思想观念的革新、科学知识的流转以及传统教育的变革。在此基础上,晚明科技翻译为近代科学体系在中国的确立夯实了基础。The Late Ming Dynasty witnessed a surge in sci-tech translation,marking the second translation peak in Chinese history and the onset of systematic translation of Western technological knowledge.The translation during this period played a crucial role in the ideological enlightenment and transformation of traditional Chinese knowledge.This study,rooted in the social context of the Late Ming Dynasty,analyzes the inevitability of the rise of sci-tech translation and further elucidates its primary contents,with an aim of exploring the significance of Late Ming sci-tech translation for the transformation of traditional Chinese knowledge.The analysis reveals that the sci-tech translation in the Late Ming Dynasty not only introduced new scientific knowledge but also broadened the intellectual horizons of the Chinese people.Moreover,these translations propelled the development of society,technology,and education,facilitating reforms in traditional thoughts,the circulation and renewal of scientific knowledge,and the transformation of traditional education systems.In this way,sci-tech translation during the Late Ming Dynasty laid a solid foundation for the establishment of a modern scientific system in China.
