摘  要:历史上关于《礼记·乐记》的作者、写成时间与传布过程的诸种说法,由于缺少思想和文本层面的综合考察,多沦为一面之词。从《乐记》文本的形成过程及其思想宗旨来看,可以将其上溯到孔子弟子及其再传弟子进行礼乐重构活动的战国中早期。具体来说,《乐记》是孔子之后以子游及其后学公孙尼子为代表的儒家,为了解答礼乐能否教化民众以及如何教化民众的问题而涉入心性论之域,从心性论高度对音乐的起源、本质及其乐教路径与意义等重大问题展开运思的产物,反映了子游学派“寻本遵道”的学术传统,并引发了儒家探究人性问题的热潮,标志着儒家乐教理论的成熟,在先秦儒家思想谱系中占有十分重要的地位。The various statements about the formation of the text of Yue Ji in history have mostly become onesided due to a lack of ideological and historical examination.From the perspective of the formation process and ideological purpose of the text of Yue Ji,it can be traced back to the middle and early stages of the Warring States period when Confucius'disciples and their descendants carried out ritual and music reconstruction activities.Specifically,Ziyou and his descendants,Gongsun Nizi,as representatives of Confucianism after Confucius,entered the realm of the theory of Xin(心,mind)and Xing(性,nature)to answer the question of whether and how to educate the people through rites and music,and explored major issues such as the origin and essence of music,the path and significance of educating the people with music from the perspective of the theory of Xin and Xing.Yue Ji is the product of the theoretical exploration of the Ziyou school,that reflected the academic tradition of"seeking the root and following the principle"of this school,marked the maturity of the construction of the Confucian music education theoretical system,triggered a wave of Confucian exploration of human nature issues.
