摘　　要：An alteration in the lineage bias of aged hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) has been implicated in the reduced immunity observed upon aging. Ross and colleagues now provide direct support for this hypothesis, demonstrating that a selective depletion of myeloid-biased HSCs in aged mice is accompanied by improvement in several parameters of immunity, uncovering a possible novel therapeutic avenue for counteracting age-related decline in immunity.
