跨文化交际中英汉礼貌语的语用失误浅析

摘　　要：跨文化交际中,礼貌语的不正确使用会引起不必要的沟通障碍和误解。因此关于不同文化中礼貌的概念与内涵以及如何在跨文化交际中确保用语的礼貌与得体,也日益引起人们的关注与重视。从日常交流中经常使用的称呼语、社交应酬语、日常寒暄语和恭维语四个方面出发,对交际中出现的礼貌用语的具体语用失误进行剖析,可知产生语用失误的原因主要在于交际双方的文化差异,因而以合作原则和礼貌原则为前提,提出了避免跨文化交际中语用失误的对策和建议,提高跨文化交际能力。In the context of such communication,improper utilization of polite language may give rise to unnecessary barriers and misunderstandings.Consequently,there is a growing focus on comprehending the concept and connotation of politeness in diverse cultures,as well as ensuring its appropriateness in cross-cultural communication.This paper examines specific pragmatic failures associated with polite expressions in communication from four perspectives:address language,social interaction language,daily pleasantries and compliments commonly employed in everyday discourse.It becomes evident that these pragmatic failures primarily stem from cultural disparities between communicative parties.Accordingly,this paper proposes countermeasures and suggestions aimed at averting pragmatic failure in intercultural communication while enhancing intercultural communicative competence.
