摘　　要：为调查学生中国传统文化英语表达能力现状、学习态度和需求,研究对209名非英语专业大学一年级本科生展开问卷调查、能力测试和访谈。结果显示,学生普遍母语文化知识匮乏、英语表达能力欠缺,但在不同文化内容上表现不一。多数学生对用英语表达中国传统文化持积极态度,但部分学生存在认知误区。建议大学英语教学优化课程内容、教学方法与评价体系,并将中国传统文化英语学习与学生专业学习相融合,以提升学生文化传播和国际交流能力。To investigate the current situation,attitudes and learning needs of non-English major college students regarding their English competency to express Chinese traditional culture,this study conducted questionnaires,competency tests and interviews among 209 first-year undergraduate students of non-English majors.Results showed that students generally lacked Chinese traditional culture knowledge and English competency but with varied performance in different cultural contents.Most students held a positive attitude towards expressing Chinese traditional culture in English,but some had misunderstandings.It is suggested that College English optimize curriculum content,teaching methods and evaluation system,and integrate Chinese traditional culture with students'professional study to enhance their ability in international cultural communication.
