摘  要:郭象哲学的一个重要贡献,在于破除此前玄学论辩中生成背后仿佛有造物实体的观念。而“自生”与“独化”两个概念作为其哲学体系中的枢纽,分别蕴含着破除生成背后实体的两条论证理路。“自生”强调事物的生发只是自然而然,没有统一的单个实体作为主体或主使;“独化”则针对性地讨论在个别事物及他者之间设定依待关系的“寻责无极”思维,指出造物者观念是由这种错误思维所导致的,从而也是错误的。One of the significant contributions of Guo Xiang's philosophy is its role in dispelling the conception that there is an entity behind the genesis of all things,a common position in Six-Dynasties neo-Taoism debates preceding Guo.Guo's crucial concepts of“Zisheng”(self-generation)and“Duhua”(lone-transformation)imply two separate lines of argumentation for dispelling such an entity.On the one hand,“Zisheng”emphasizes that the emergence of things is spontaneous and self-sufficient,without any agent behind to motivate them.Thus,there is no need to posit an entity to serve as a creator.On the other hand,“Duhua”discusses the way of thinking that posits causal relations between a thing and its others.It points out that the concept of the ultimate creator is caused by such thinking and is,therefore,incorrect.
